EP shows how much points you got for showing up. The more, the better.
GP shows how much gear you got. Each time you get stuff, you gain GP.
Priority is EP divided by GP, and works as the primary factor in deciding who gets gear.
Most of the time, if several people ask for an item, whoever's highest on priority will win.
Some times, the Loot Council will decide otherwise, for fairness and/or guild progress.
What is this tool?
This tool shows EPGP standings for the guild, as well as the entire history.
What is the guild loot system?
Our loot system is be a hybrid Loot Council with points. We will use a point system called EPGP to ensure transparent tracking of effort and gear, and Loot Council will use that information to make its decision on every item. It's expected that for most items, the LC will go with EPGP values, but it can decide to override them if fairness or progression requires it.
How will Loot Council function?
The Loot Counil will consist of all officers, and a rotating representative(s) from Core Raiders. It willl decide, for each item, who should get it, based on EPGP, attendance, performance, and other relevant metricds.
What is EPGP?
We'll use a point system called EPGP, which is short for Effort Points / Gear Points. Unlike the traditional DKP system, you don't spent points on gear; instead, you get EP for attendance (and potentially other kinds of effort), and also gain GP any time you are awarded raid gear. Your standing at any time will be EP divided by GP. This means that attendance will roughly correspond to gear obtained; if someone attends 100% of the raids, they would, over time, get twice the gear of someone attending only 50% (ignoring, for this example, the fact that we'd not be a fan of 50% attendance).
What is EP? What is GP? What is PR(iority)?
EP are the Effort points, which you get for showing up, as well as a reward for certain activities (such as completing your M+s). GP are the Gear Points, which you get when you are awarded a piece of raid gear. Your gear priority, PR, is obtained by dividing your EP by your GP. That way, everyone’s ratio of effort (showing up) and gear obtained informs their likelihood of getting the new item.
What is the GP cost of each item?
Normal pieces cost no GP.
All Heroic pieces cost 2 GP.
Mythic pieces cost depends on the slot:
Weapons:
Two-Handed weapons cost 20 GP.
One-Handed weapons, Shields, and Off-Hands cost 10 GP.
